#10: Whale feces researcher (aka poo gatherer/sifter)
#9: Forensic entomologist (aka corpse maggot counter)
#8: Olympic drug tester (aka no-win situation)
#7: Gravity research subject (aka no showers and one gets to get
strapped head downward for two weeks)
#6: Microsoft Security Grunt (aka Oh goody, Yet Another Virus)
#5: Coursework Carcass Preparer (aka frog/rat killers/picklers/bottlers)
#4: Garbologist (aka dumpster diving for pay)
#3: Element Vasectomist (aka 12 inch testicles, on an animal that
might weigh 8 or more tons -- and they're *inside* the bull)
#2: Oceanographer (aka majorly depressing news regarding collapsing
reefs, overfishing, deoxygenated dead zones, plastic crap,
global warming, acidity, ...)

and of course

#1: Hazmat Diver (aka imagine diving into a pool full of
pig urine, liquid pig feces, *and* injection needles --
on a more or less regular basis!)

Yuck. I suppose someone's got to do them, though, so
my hat's off to them. At least an oceanographer doesn't
have to worry too much about a breach in his hazmat suit,
though he might encounter some whale crap.

Would it behoove our analysists to make up their minds? :-)

Anyone else reminded of GM's "what's good for GM is good for American"
of days gone by? :-)

Useless C++ Programming Idea #8830129:
std::set<...> v; for(..:iterator i = v.begin(); i != v.end(); i++)
