Well, it's quite complicated. Just look at the weird economics of war, whereby
wealthy bankers lend money to a government that is in heavy debt (*cough* GW
*cough*) and encourage war so that more stuff gets destructed and rebuilt
while Erik Price and the warmongering gang makes a nice stash. Meanwhile,
taxpayers think the government puts the money to good use, but they actually
cover those high interest rates imposed by loans (or do some (tax) money
laundering with Microsoft in the case of MSBBC). As some of the world's leader
secretly said, if only people knew how the system (mal)functioned, there would
be chaos (revolt).
But hey! Microsoft has investors... and buybacks... and dividends... and the
Gates Foundation which is 'protected' from tax and is used to bribe
politicians... and then there are the bank accounts in Ireland... and scum
like Bill Weisgerber to spin the whole fiasco in USENET and make that hypnotic
exercise, having people believe that "Mr. Softie" is in great shape... *cough
cough* yeah, like the Mighty America... which, well... is entering what some
call a depression. Watch the Soros talk from Davos... and it's not just
America, mind you. The world ruins itself. Soon enough, with Exxon's global
warming shills, it won't be just a matter of economics, either. :-)
