Verily I say unto thee, that Roy Schestowitz spake thusly:

Erm ... whoever wrote that nonsense seems to have confused his
stereotypes. If anything, ESR is firmly on the capitalist (i.e. free
market) side of the fence, and RMS is on the politically anarchistic
(freedom) side. It's also clear, from ESR's various correspondences on
mailing lists, that he's a not entirely averse to encumbered software
either (witness his rant about the lack of proprietary media codec
support in Fedora), again in total contrast to RMS. If ESR has ever
shown extreme leftist tendencies, then he certainly isn't very
consistent about it.

Obviously this hack has been living in a cave for all the years that the
Open Source Vs Free Software wars have been raging, otherwise he would
have stuck his pigeons in the right hole.

And this "Commie" thing is getting tiresome. Corporatism is /not/
capitalism. Fighting corporate corruption and greed is not "Commie".

The real "extremism" is the archetypal American dystopia of a society
that corrupts subsistence into a global expansionist policy of brutal
and selfish exploitation.
