The semi-apologists would say that Novell did us all a favour. They reported
an exploited a licence vulnerability. Now we can patch it once and for all.
But Linus likes his kernel promiscuous. I think it sets a very nagative
example and precedence for other companies to follow (e.g. MySQL AB).
