Well, lets see.....

I know where I got mine - I installed it.

I know where my wife got hers - I installed it for her.

I know where my son got his - he installed it.

I know where my son's wife got hers - she installed it.

I know where my 9 and 7 year-old grand-kids got theirs - their mum and dad
installed it for them.

I know where my mate down the road got it - he installed it.

I know where our elderly lady friend got hers - I installed it for her.

I know where my mate who emigrated to the U.S. got his - he installed it.

... and yes, 5 of those use it for work, two use it for school-work, and one
uses it for church stuff etc.  All use it either exclusively or almost
exclusively on their own computers, though they use what they are given at
work, school, etc. (and in 3 cases, they are given Linux).
