Perhaps there is a missing path, but a Web search will find similar how-to's.
I advise you to make the transition gradual. Find programs and tasks which
you feel comfortable with under Linux. Take one small step at a time and you
will be pleased with your choice to explore and hopefully make a full
transition. You can also consider virtualisation and running of Windows
programs under Linux, in due time.
