Yet another FUD story :-)

Symantec seems to be desperate, because their reliable friends from
Redmond left them in the dark. This so called OOo malware is nothing
but a (harmless) proof of concept.

Many Windows users log on as administrator, which makes their system
vulnerable. On the other hand GNU/Linux users usually logon as a
"normal" user with limited user rights.

I remember very well that I logged on on a Redhat 8.0 box a couple of
years ago and got exposed to a red wallpaper with bombs on it and a
message that logging on as a superuser on X was not such a bright
idea.

All GNU/Linux users that I know off, never log on as root.

So even is this worm is actually malicious, only a user can screw up
his or her own home directory; It's never able to screw up an entire
system.

I'm a very happy GNU/Linux user for 8 years now and people keep on
promising me "one day Linux gets populair, it will be exposed to
viruses as well".

Yeah right, I'm still waiting :-)
