I'm not sure about the "lazy shit" part, but yes... it's probably better to
search before posting. In fact, the funny thing is that if you take many
HOWTO posts*, merely copying the subject line onto the search box and hit
search you'd get guides that are far more extensive and precise than a bunch
of forum messages.
* Technical groups where there are answers, rather than debates
