Note that the Real Roy made the posting to comp.os.linux.advocacy, giving
his real e-mail and showing his real ISP, and also was considerate enough
to put [News] in his header in case people wished to filter out his [News]
postings.

By contrast, the Troll  pretended to be Roy, and spammed several other
newsgroups in the hope of stirring up trouble/resentment against Roy.
