It's possible to do with Linux as well by the way. I doubt m/any people use
this feature though (auto-login). For things like FTP access, the password
needs to be re-entered every session for security reasons. At one point,
someone described this as a problem with Linux, i.e. Linux isn't insecure
enough (you know, like Windows).
