You mean like Parson who has probably accepted some Microsoft payola to help
tweak Netcraft statistics in their favour? Or Open Source companies that
have partner$hips that are intended to assist the Windows platform? Whatever
it is, all these 'games', along with pricey Get the Fact-type ads, probably
explain why in the course of just two years Microsoft lose over half of its
cash pile, according to the Seattle Pi. Now Microsoft pays business just to
be using its resources (Live). It's like prostitution. And Microsoft loses a
lot of money. Judging by COLA's recent Munchkin activity, they have been
cutting on that one particular budget. 

MSFT profits slid in the last quarter. Can't wait until the financial report
of their next quarter comes out...
