First you have to priove he's deliberately lying, and not merely
oversealous in his judgements, or mistaken in his opinions, or simply
misinformed.

Two easy remedies exist for your 'problem. Killfile Roy or his NEWS posts,
or both. Or leave the group. I don't see that you have any right to object
ot how often he posts, or indeed what. He's posting advocacy. You seem to
dislike that.
