IE is so brittle. It can handle some non-standards-compliant code. It cannot
handle fully standards-compliant code. It's truly a bizarro 'browser'. If
developers did not tailor and adjust their site to be IE-friendly, IE would
have been in deep s**t. It already is... Try the some IE-snubbing pages with
IE. There are software packages that in 'out of the box' state do not work
with IE6.
