Ask John C. Dvorak why he has spent the past few years trolling anything that
moves in the technology industry... then come to discover how much he gets
paid for an article or a keynote speech. Trolling gets
(negative/controversial) recognition. Look how many newsgroups are familiar
with the self-named flatfish phenomenon. Like Dvorak, Flatfish gets ignored
by everyone but clueless (in their defence) newbies.
