15/10/2004 ___________________________________________ Asymmetry Problem -See E-mail from earlier today. ___________________________________________ Automatic Appearance Model Building (1-D) -Figures under: http://www2.cs.man.ac.uk/~schestr0/Temp ___________________________________________ Integration -Framework in log book. -One way of doing this is clear, only time is needed. ___________________________________________ Landmark Selection -Finding the correct solution: Yet to be addressed unless otherwise decided. -Needs manual annotation and clear understanding of data structures in the code. ___________________________________________ Conclusions -Conclusions were added and described in more detail. http://schestowitz.com/Research/Explanatory_Notes/2004/First_Year_Conclusions/First_Year_Conclusions.pdf ___________________________________________ Form 10 -Needs to be completed soon. http://schestowitz.com/Research/Progress/Forms/Year_2/PDF/form10.pdf http://schestowitz.com/Research/Progress/Forms/Year_2/form10.doc ___________________________________________ MIAS IRC Oral -Work in progress. -Practice on Monday. ___________________________________________ Distributed Computing -I found a tool that might be of interest to the ISBE MATLAB community. However, it seems more usable in the School of Computer Science where many machines in lie idly at night. See: http://www.ll.mit.edu/MatlabMPI/ -It is a very small 250-line library (written entirely in MATLAB) that allows multiple MATLAB programs to talk to each other, so that hundreds of processors can work together.
