Landmark Selection

-Experiments with varying bump heights were performed. Improvements can be seen, but they do not equate to these of experiments where height is fixed.
-Animated results can be shown.
-Bootstrapping might be worth pursuing, but this is undecided.

Profiling

-Some work has been done on characterising the algorithm.
-Reports are located under the Computer Science filestore (restricted
access).
-Subset-driven approach is slower because the optimiser constructs a greater number of models.

-I will have to register at the later date. Administration must have Form 9 prior to registration.
-Ian will help in setting up the MATLAB cron job without chance of leaking memory.
-My copy of the Continuation Report was handed in to Angela.
-My responsibilities in MCC make absence during Freshers' Week problematic. I will not manage to attend the MIUA conference, also because registration is closed.
